Ball drop impact tester model XJB-30

Instrument for impact testing on plastic films compliant with the methods described by international standards: ISO 7765-85, ASTM D1709.
Equipped with an automatic sample locking system, anti-rebound device and safety system to protect the operator from possible injuries.

Technical specifications

  • Maximum impact energy: 30J
  • International standards provide for two test methods:
    Method A, with a drop height of 660 mm and a dart diameter of 38 mm ± 1 mm, and Method B, with a drop height of 1500 mm and a dart diameter of 50 mm ± 1 mm.
  • Weights supplied range from 50g to 2000g (in 5g increments)
  • The internal diameter of the sample clamping system is 125mm (the external one is 150mm).
