The new 36mm co-rotating twin-screw extruder is built with a closed-section modular barrel equipped with PM-HIP steel anti-wear liners.
Each modular barrel section has a length of 4 times the reference diameter, and the machine is available with various L/D (length/diameter) ratios ranging from 40 to 60+.
The screw elements are also made from high wear-resistant PM-HIP steel and are mounted on new high-torque mechanical shafts with external splines.
