This machine is designed to visually measure and evaluate thread slippage and other defects that can occur in the three most common types of seams used in upholstery:
Warp sewn to warp (edge-to-edge)
Filling sewn to filling (layer-to-layer)
Warp sewn to filling (flap-to-row)
The machine applies a cyclic, impact, and penetration load to stress the seams and simulate real-world conditions. This verifies the resistance and durability of the construction.
