The IULTCS/Veslic Abrasion Tester is designed to assess color fastness on materials such as leather, plastics, and textiles. The test involves an alternating rubbing action exerted by a white wool felt, applied to the sample’s surface under specific pressure.
After a defined number of cycles, the sample’s color fastness is evaluated by analyzing any color changes, fading, and the degree of color transfer to the wool felt. The apparatus is suitable for both dry and wet abrasion tests, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of the material’s performance.
