This instrument can be used for dry abrasion tests and wet abrasion tests.
It’s utilized to determine the color fastness of leather to back-and-forth rubbing. For this, a wooden semi-cylinder, with a 10 mm radius and 20 mm width, is attached to the rubbing head. At the base, there’s a device for attaching rubber strips.
