Blow point Tester

The High Speed Blow Point Tester BP-2 is a precision instrument designed to determine the “blow point” in vulcanized rubber products. The “blow point” is the exact moment at which the voids within the material disappear. This value is essential for calculating the equivalent degree of vulcanization and for establishing the optimal vulcanization time for large rubber products.

Application

This tester is ideal for use on large rubber products such as tires, belts, and anti-vibration rubbers. It helps manage the production process by ensuring a uniform degree of vulcanization between the inside and the surface of the product.

Application Principle

The device measures the temperature increase at four points in the center of the samples, using integrated temperature sensors. The “blow point” value is calculated by entering the data of the vulcanized samples (after identifying the location of the voids) into the data processing unit.
