The Cast Film and Sheet line with a C-Type Chill roll is designed for high-performance applications. This innovative solution features an upward-oriented roll configuration, which enables the production of film and sheets at high speeds while ensuring sufficient cooling through their mutual contact.
The system consists of three rolls: the first two are arranged horizontally, while the third is positioned at a 45-degree inclination above the second. The film is wrapped around the large central roll at an angle of approximately 225°, and then onto the upper roll at a 180° angle, ensuring optimal thermal conduction.
This exclusive C-shaped configuration was developed to accelerate the cooling process, optimize contact between the material and the rolls, and guarantee continuous, highly efficient production.
