The Compact 5-layer Co-Ex blown film line is an innovative and compact blown film line, designed to offer an efficient, flexible, and cost-effective solution compared to traditional multi-layer film co-extrusion lines. It’s ideal for laboratories, R&D centers, and manufacturers who need a versatile system in a limited space.
This machine combines high performance, ease of use, and cost optimization.
This line is equipped with five modular “lowboy” extruders, characterized by a low-profile design that allows for compact installation and greater accessibility during setup and maintenance operations. The extruders feed a five-layer “pancake” co-extrusion die head, capable of ensuring excellent material distribution, thickness uniformity, and high quality of the final film.
The standard line also comes with an advanced stabilizing cage with Teflon rollers, designed to keep the bubble stable during film ascent, minimizing friction and preventing surface defects.
All of this is integrated into a frame with a 360-degree oscillating tower, which allows for continuous rotation of the film during winding, improving the flatness and symmetry characteristics of the final product. The line is completed by a surface winder, which allows for neat winding of the film, ready for subsequent use or quality testing.
