This instrument is designed to determine the bulk density of granules and powders.
It’s ideal for quality control of raw materials. The test is performed by pouring the material through a funnel into a cylinder of known volume. The bulk density is calculated by dividing the weight of the material in the cylinder by the cylinder’s volume.
