Pendulum Impact Tester

AMSE offers the XJLD 50 pendulum model, specifically designed for tensile impact testing in accordance with the international standard ISO 8256.

This instrument features an onboard digital display for setting test parameters, automatic calibration, and viewing the results obtained at the end of the test.

Additional Information

The tensile impact test is performed on materials that exhibit high elongation before breaking.

The specimen is secured in a vice on one side, while a calibrated clamp is applied to the opposite side. The pendulum hammer then impacts this clamp at a speed between 1.5 m/s and 3.8 m/s, causing the specimen to break.
The hammer is equipped with accessory weights, allowing for four energy levels: 7.5 J, 15 J, 25 J, and 50 J.
