The digital lastometer is a highly specialized instrument used to determine the cracking resistance index of upper leather, leather lining, and all types of thin leather. The measurement process with the digital lastometer begins with securely fastening the leather sample within a clamping frame. This frame is designed to hold the sample firmly in place.
