Co-rotating twin-screw extruders for the pharmaceutical industry are built with a modular clamshell barrel design. The compounder is available in 12, 26, and 36 mm diameters, with barrel lengths ranging from 25 to 40 L/D (length to diameter ratio), and features an AC vector motor. The extruder is designed for optimal compounding of pharmaceutical compounds and is also built to GMP standards.
