BGD 865

BGD 865 is a small Xenon chamber, very simple and economic. It uses a low-power air-cooled lamp, sufficient to produce a significant radiation in a small space. The catoptric system of the instrument ensures an homogeneous distribution of the irradiation on all the samples. The BGD865 is equipped with the extended UV filters that allow greater passage of UV rays below the normal cut-on of natural sunlight. They are used to produce faster and more stringent test results. This test is named “Artificial accelerated weathering test”. The operator can set all the required parameters (radiation, test time, black panel temperature etc.) directly from a touch screen and can control the test progress at any time. All parameters can be exported to a PC via USB interface.
